Mike and Chelene Kennedy started their missionary work in Arequipa, Peru where After Chelene gave birth to their third child, Zach, they had to move to the capital city due to his health complications and lack of doctors in Arequipa. The family of five then moved to Lima where they had two more kids, and the family of seven has called Lima home ever since.

In the small province of Cieneguilla, Lima, the Kennedys started their missionwork. They had a passion to start an orphanage that takes in abandoned children and helps them to be adopted into loving families from all over the world. They have also started two churches in Lima, one in Cieneguilla and another in the province of Pachachutec.

Though it has not always been easy, God is good, and the orphanage and the churches have been standing strong for years.
